Flexing Our Political Power
Since 2017, WDN Action has moved over $42 million in c4 grants to more than 120 organizations across the country, resourcing both state-based and national organizing. We combine investments in long-term movement infrastructure with responsive funding to meet the moment.
As a network of feminist donors and activists, WDN Action brings a unique gender and racial justice lens to political giving and advocacy. We support year-round organizing, emerging capacity and infrastructure, innovative cultural and narrative strategies, and political power-building that is rooted in community.
Advance Native Political Leadership is building Indigenous political power and expanding Native representation in elected and appointed offices across the country.
Organizations like The Cultural Engagement Lab are deploying innovative cultural and narrative strategies to change hearts and minds.
In Georgia, the New Georgia Project Action Fund, Asian American Advocacy Fund, and others have been engaging record numbers of voters to win elections and build progressive governing power.
New c4 capacity and infrastructure via organizations like Poder NC, Poder in Action (AZ), and Rising Voices (MI) is creating the conditions to build toward long-term, transformational change in key states.
Organizations like NextGen and the Alliance for Youth Action are using creative digital tactics to increase the youth vote turnout, drive policies that center the needs of young people, and build for the future.
Efforts to build Black political power led by groups like Black to the Future Action Fund, Black Voters Matter, and Our Voice Our Vote center the needs of Black communities in critical policy advocacy.
