Helynsia Brown

Head of Technology

Helynsia Brown is the founding Head of Technology at WDN Action. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Technology at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and as the first Chief Technology Officer at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Her career in technology began in the U.S. Air Force as an IT Specialist, and has also included significant positions at various federal agencies, including USAID and the Department of State. Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Helynsia now resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two dogs, reading, and following all things basketball.
