Camila Ustarez (she/her/ella)

Learning and Impact Program Associate

Camila joined WDN Action as the Learning and Impact Program Associate, where she provides essential project management support to ensure the seamless coordination of member programs, events, and processes. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive network that connects, grows, funds, and mobilizes members around shared goals. Prior to joining WDN Action in 2024, Camila led program management, event planning, and community organizing initiatives focused on gender equity at a nonprofit in Miami-Dade County.

Camila’s lived experiences and her work in the public sector have fueled her passion for advocating for social justice and equity, particularly through a gender lens. Born in Bolivia and having migrated to the U.S. at a young age, Camila is a first-generation college graduate. She earned her B.A. in International Relations with a focus on Gender Studies and Queer Studies from Florida International University, and later obtained her M.A. in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University.

Camila resides in Florida and enjoys spending her time off at farmers’ markets, on her yoga mat, and with her loved ones, including her adorable Pomeranian, Yugi.
