Meet Our Board

Quinn Delaney (she/her)

Board Chair

Quinn is chair of the board of directors of WDN Action and a longtime member of Women Donors Network (WDN).

Quinn is the founder of Akonadi Foundation, an Oakland-based foundation that supports movement building for racial justice. She is also a founding member of the California Donor Table, which works to build a progressive political infrastructure with strong voices from communities of color to elect progressive candidates in California.

Intersectionality and power-building form the basis of Quinn’s theory of change in areas of criminal justice, racial and gender justice, and power building. She approaches the work with a full toolbox, including 501(c)(3) power building funding, 501(c)(4) advocacy, direct candidate and party contributions, and direct lobbying of elected officials. Quinn works to encourage donors and nonprofit leaders to incorporate all of these strategies.

In addition to WDN Action, Quinn sits on the boards of Akonadi Foundation, Oakland Museum of California, East Bay Community Foundation, and Planned Parenthood Action. She is a member of the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls and was recently appointed by President Biden to the Commission on Presidential Scholars.

Quinn has a BA from Pitzer College and JD from University of Houston.
